Scope of Services Disclosure
MARINE SERVICES INTERNATIONAL operates as a S&P Shipbroker and Rig Broker and we do not
provide agency, but instead function “As Brokers Only” merely acting as a matchmaking intermediary
for the sale and purchase of vessels, rigs and equipment as tangible assets only. We DO NOT engage
in facilitating the sale of, or provide advisory services of equities, securities, intangible property, or
owner stakes in the companies that own the assets. In S&P and chartering activities, our compensation
is commissions based and derived based upon the charter or sale of the tangible equipment assets,
NOT equities, FFA Derivatives or securities. Under the role as S&P Shipbroker and Appraiser, we DO NOT offer agency or investor advisory. Under the role of Appraiser, our compensation is fee based
and paid upon execution of the Client Engagement Agreement. As Appraisers we DO NOT offer advocacy, but only advocate for the stated value opinion derived from our analysis, and substantiated
opinions and conclusions from objective market and cost data and asset specific details delivered to
the intended user in our Appraisal. We DO NOT offer investment advice, neither do we engage in
M&A activities that involve securities.
Jurisdiction and Applicable law
The relationship established between Marine Services International and the User is governed by
current legislation with regard to the applicable law and competent jurisdiction. However, where the
law provides the possibility of the parties submitting to a jurisdiction, Marine Services International
and the User shall submit all disputes via the Courts of the City of Houston, Texas, under the law of
the United States of America, and expressly waive any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled.
Availability of Services Restricted to Legally Permissible Jurisdictions
The services described in pages of this website are only offered in jurisdictions and to entities where
they may be legally offered. We are unable to collaborate or transact with businesses and individuals
